MIL-DTL-26482 Connectors series 2

High-Performance Miniature Connectors for Aerospace, Defense & Industrial Applications

Elimec USA offers the MIL-DTL-26482 Series II connector line, a robust and reliable upgrade to the original Series I, featuring a bayonet coupling mechanism and rear-removable crimp contacts. These miniature cylindrical connectors are engineered to meet demanding performance requirements across aerospace, military, and industrial systems where size, weight, and durability are critical.

Fully intermountable and interchangeable with Series I (solder or front-release crimp) and functionally identical to the now-inactive MIL-DTL-83723 Series I, Series II connectors ensure backward compatibility while enhancing reliability and serviceability.

    Qualified to 33 layouts per MIL-STD-1669 using 3 to 61 M39029 contacts in sizes 20, 16, and 12—supporting wire sizes from 24 to 12 AWG.
  • Multiple Shell Material & Finish Options
    • Aluminum: Electroless nickel, olive drab cadmium, black anodic
    • Stainless Steel: Passivated (RoHS compliant)
    • Nickel-Aluminum-Bronze: For highly corrosive environments (commercial callouts only)
    • Other RoHS-compliant options: zinc cobalt, black zinc-nickel,       black nickel
  • Insert & Shell Polarization
    Alternate clocking and key/keyway options to prevent mismating of similar connectors.
  • Advanced Sealing System
    • Closed-entry socket insert with chamfered lead-ins
    • Interfacial seals to block moisture ingress
    • Elastomer grommets with triple wire seals
    • Dynamic O-ring for sealing plug-to-receptacle interface
  • Superior Contact Stability
    Rear-release crimp system using stamped beryllium-copper clips for secure, damage-resistant retention. Contacts are easily inserted/removed using a universal plastic I/R tool (M81969).
