MIL-DTL-5015 / AS50151 Series III connectors

Threaded, Environmentally Sealed Connectors for Rugged Reliability

Elimec USA offers MIL-DTL-5015 / AS50151 Series III connectors—a modern, threaded coupling solution built for long-term performance across defense, aerospace, industrial, and transportation systems. Originally developed to replace solder-type connectors, this crimp-contact version offers enhanced durability, field serviceability, and full compatibility with legacy Series I (MS310*), Series II (MS340*), and MIL-DTL-83723 Series II crimp types.

These connectors are designed for use in environments where rugged performance, environmental sealing, and secure coupling are critical. They provide a cost-effective upgrade path for existing designs while meeting today's demanding performance standards.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Threaded Coupling with Environmental Sealing
A secure threaded design ensures reliable connection in harsh      environments, with optional self-locking plugs that eliminate the need for safety wiring.
  • Drop-In Compatibility
Fully intermateable and intermountable with older MIL-DTL-5015 and 83723 configurations—making retrofit simple and cost-effective.
  • Flexible Mounting Options
Available in four receptacle types: wall mount, box mount, jam nut, and cable-connecting, with optional O-ring seals for panel mounting.
  • Multiple Plug Styles
Choose between standard plugs with safety-wire holes and self-locking anti-decoupling plugs for maximum convenience and security.
  • Wide Insert & Contact Range
    Qualified to 88 MIL-STD-1651 insert arrangements, supporting 1 to 85 contacts in sizes 16, 12, 8, 4, and 0 (20 AWG to 0 AWG wires).
  • Superior Environmental Protection
Triple-seal elastomer grommets and individual pin barriers provide robust moisture and dust sealing.
  • Rear-Release Crimp Contacts
Secure and stable crimp contacts can be easily inserted and removed with a universal plastic tool (M81969).
  • Insert Polarization
Multiple keying positions prevent mismating of identical insert layouts in close proximity.
